Cheetahs!!!

WE WON!!!!!
I had the pleasure of attending the CurrieCup Final between the Xerox Lions and the Vodacom Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on saturday! The atmosphere was breathtaking and seeing everybody dressed in the Cheetah's signature Orange was quite something.

Attending the game was the World Cup Champion Springboks and they were so close to us, we could not only see them, but also the Web-Ellis Trophy they were holding prior to the victory walk around the stadium at half time. The game itself was nailbiting and the Lions were in the lead for most of the game but the Cheetahs came back with a phenomenal effort to win the game in the last two minutes! The crowd went wild!

This morning I received photos, that were taken from Johan Naudé's Cessna while flying over the stadium, minutes before the game started and they had to clear air space for the boeing from 1time for their fly-by.
He was the pilot and his girlfriend took the photos.

Construction for 2010's Soccer World Cup is clearly visible behind the main pavilion and of course the ORANGE - I suppose that's why the stadium is called the "house of orange"

CONGRATULATIONS CHEETAHS!!!
