Reading and other hobbies..

Long time no blogging..feels nice to be back.
Haven't been reading much else than my Bible lately..as can be deducted from my list of books that I've read in 2010 below. My bedside table does look like a discarded library though..and am determined to get through the heap before I take on any other reading. Maybe the December holiday will provide some reading time with both the children off to their other parents. That is after the list of "to-do's" around the house is finished. And the list of needlework projects are finished. Started knitting the elephant that I plan to give to my mother for her birthday in November. She loves elephants and one made with love will surely find a special place in her room.
Tonight the first step will be taken towards finishing off the many, many lists in my life - I really need to get things in order. (says the control-enthusiast)
Reporting to be done on the progress later. Had a productive day, and that always makes me feel better. Have to run..chat again later.

This self catering unit will definitely be a future option for a weekend away. The kids have a huge room that walks out on the balcony with a sea view. Victor has his own undercover built-in braai. There is enough light on the balcony for me to be able to read, with my feet up, gin and tonic in hand. Bliss.
