After the unfortunate incident where I washed my cellphone in the washing machine, I have now upgraded to a model of phone that allows blogging. Just finished the setup for blogging so OFF WE GO!!!
PS. I love technology. Was called an IT slut recently...still don't think I should see this in a negative light...
PPS. I should remember adding images to blogging. That always makes a difference.

As is customary at the beginning of every year, I blog the books that I have read the previous year. Here then the list:
Sue Grafton - D is for Deadbeat
Kate Furnivall - The Russian Concubine
Anita Shreve - The Pilot's Wife
Retha & Aldo McPherson - 'n Boodskap van God
Charles Sobczak - a Choice of Angels
Erika Murray-Theron - 'n Tapisserie met klein diere
Natasha Sutherland - Bittersoet
Debbie Macomber - Thursdays at eight
William P. Young - The Shack
Susan Coetzer - Oros vir die siel
Without making excuses for the pathetic little list (that was mostly read in the last two months of the year), I reckon that the year was emotionally eventful enough to occupy most of my time. I already have a stack of books ready for this year, just hope that I will have the enthusiasm to read and blog about them. One particular author that I look forward to meeting is Herman Charles Bosman. I also intend reading the Twilight series that is now all the rave. Thinking about it, I have been reading to a blind man for the past year, a novel that was written about the Bible. THAT was most certainly the best book and has been making Bible study pure JOY! More about that later. Love the fact that my husband is at this moment spending the last day of his holiday, reading. How fortunate I am to love a person that also loves reading and books. You should see our library, we will have to expand soon. Have I told you lately how much I love him? After a year of married life, our marriage is getting even better.

To look for anything special outside of everyday activities is like brushing
away the waves to look for water.
